Cloud Migration and
Modernisation Services

Assessment, re-platforming and data migration with reconciliation and regression testing, so nothing breaks at cutover. We move legacy workloads to AWS and Azure, modernise what is worth keeping, and prove every row landed before the old system is switched off.

What a Migration Covers

Three phases, one team, and a cutover that is tested before anyone calls it done.

Assessment

Workloads, dependencies and data stores mapped, so you know what moves, what stays and what is too tangled to lift as it is. The plan comes with a target architecture and a cutover order.

Re-Platforming

Applications, databases and workloads moved from on-premise or hybrid to AWS or Azure, by rehosting, replatforming or refactoring, whichever fits the system and the budget.

Data Migration

Data moved with row counts, checksums and business rules reconciled, then regression tested against the old system before cutover, so nothing quietly goes missing.

A migration is finished when the data reconciles, not when the servers move.

Migration Problems We Fix

The four reasons legacy moves stall, and what replaces each one.

High Legacy Costs

Outdated infrastructure moved to cloud-native stacks with autoscaling, so you pay for the load you actually run.

Cutover Downtime

Phased cutovers with rollback plans, parallel runs and live monitoring, so the business keeps trading.

No Cloud Skills

Certified engineers own architecture, security and DevOps, and train your team to run what they build.

Slow After Moving

Performance tuning, compliance checks and monitoring after go-live, so the new system beats the old one.

Migrate, Then Modernise

Not every system needs a rebuild. We pick the lightest path that gets you the result.

Rehost

Lift the workload as it is onto cloud infrastructure. Fastest exit from an ageing data centre.

Replatform

Swap the database, runtime or middleware for managed cloud services without rewriting the app.

Refactor

Break the monolith into microservices and containers where speed and scale justify the work.

Modernise

Add CI/CD, monitoring and serverless pieces through DevOps consulting and CI/CD.

Results From Delivery

Regulated, high-volume systems, built and tested by the team that moves them.

Two private-sector banks · Lending platforms

Loan processing and agent onboarding rebuilt for two leading private-sector banks, with the compliance each engagement required. Platforms like these only change through a named cutover, reconciled data and tested releases.

60% faster loan processing50% less agent onboarding time

Diagnostics Chain Back End

The back end for a Chennai diagnostics chain, built to carry the integrations and load that real patient volume produces.

Cybersecurity SaaS

A cybersecurity SaaS product tested under DDoS simulation, so the team knew how it fails and recovers before its customers did.

How a Migration Runs

Start with one environment, prove the method, then move the rest.

Environment Review

A free review of one environment: what runs today, what it depends on and what it costs.

Migration Plan

Target architecture, migration path per workload and cutover order. Bigger strategy calls run through cloud consulting and strategy.

Pilot Workload

One workload moved first, reconciled and regression tested, so the method is proven before scale.

Cutover and After

Phased cutover with rollback, then tuning and support, or handover to managed cloud services.

Why Teams Choose Vervali to Migrate

A testing lab that migrates, so proof is built into every cutover.

Testing Lab Discipline

An ISO/IEC 17025 accredited lab with CMMI Level 3 process, so reconciliation and regression are planned, documented and repeatable.

AWS and Azure

We build on AWS and Azure, test the account through cloud security testing, and build new products through cloud application development.

An Extension of Your Team

Working hours overlap 9am to 1pm Eastern with delivery from India, and the team scales with each migration wave.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cloud testing checks how an application behaves in the cloud environment it runs in: functional, load, security, failover and configuration tests on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. In a migration it matters twice. We test the target environment before cutover, then reconcile data and run regression against the old system, so the move is proven rather than assumed.

The five most often named are Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud and Oracle Cloud, with IBM Cloud close behind. Most of our migration work lands on AWS and Azure. The assessment looks at what you already run, your licences and your compliance needs before recommending a target, so the choice fits the estate rather than a trend.

Common choices include JMeter and k6 for load, Selenium, Playwright and Cypress for UI, Postman for APIs and OWASP ZAP for security. For migrations we add data comparison scripts that check row counts, checksums and business rules between the old and new systems. The tool matters less than running it before cutover, with a named owner for every failure.

UAT is run by business users, so the tools focus on tracking rather than scripting. Teams commonly use Jira or Azure DevOps for test cases and defects, TestRail or Zephyr for test management, and screen capture tools for feedback. In a migration we automate reconciliation and regression before UAT, so business users spend their time confirming the new system works the way they do.

A DevOps consultant reviews how your team builds, tests and releases software, then designs and puts in the improvements: CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, containers, monitoring and the quality gates in between. In a migration that work turns a one-off move into a platform your team can release on every week. A free review of one environment is the usual first step.

No. AI speeds up parts of the work, such as drafting scripts, infrastructure templates and runbooks, but someone still has to own a cutover, decide when to roll back and explain why a row did not reconcile. AI makes DevOps teams faster. It does not replace the judgement and accountability a production migration needs, which is why we pair automation with named owners.

Yes. Every legacy system that moves to the cloud needs pipelines, infrastructure as code and monitoring to run well afterwards, and most teams still lack those skills in-house. Demand has shifted from building pipelines from scratch to running secure, tested releases on cloud platforms. That is why our migrations include the DevOps setup your team needs once the move is complete.

The 7 C's usually describe the DevOps lifecycle: continuous development, continuous integration, continuous testing, continuous deployment, continuous feedback, continuous monitoring and continuous operations. After a migration they are what keeps the new platform healthy. We set up the pipelines, tests and monitoring behind each one, so the system you moved keeps improving rather than becoming the next legacy estate.
