Multi-Tenant SaaS Testing
for Isolation and Scale

Vervali tests multi-tenant SaaS: isolation so one tenant cannot see another, the path a tenant actually hits, and scale checks before a large customer asks. The tenants, the load and the quote are agreed before testing starts.

What We Test in a Multi-Tenant Product

The paths where one shared platform can fail for one customer, or for all of them.

Tenant Data Isolation

Every route, query, file store and cache checked so one tenant cannot read or change another tenant's data.

Tenant Onboarding

Sign-up, provisioning and default configuration tested for a new tenant, including the failures partway through.

Roles and Access per Tenant

Administrators, users and API keys tested inside each tenant, so permissions never leak across the boundary.

Plans and Billing

Plan limits, upgrades, downgrades and invoices checked per tenant, so the right customer is charged the right amount.

Noisy Neighbour and Scale

One large tenant loaded to see whether others slow down. Deeper load work is scoped on performance testing.

Release Testing Across Tenants

Each release regression-tested against more than one tenant configuration, so a change that suits one does not break another.

Multi-Tenant Problems We Find

What shows up once many customers share one platform.

Cross-Tenant Data Leaks

A missing tenant filter on one endpoint that shows another customer's records.

Noisy Neighbours

One tenant's heavy job slowing the platform for every other customer.

Configuration Drift

Tenants set up slightly differently, so a release works for some and breaks for others.

Migrations That Miss Tenants

A schema change that applies to most tenants but fails on the ones with unusual data.

How We Test Isolation and Scale

Four kinds of test, each tied to a tenant risk.

Isolation Tests

Requests made as one tenant against another tenant's identifiers, to prove the platform refuses them.

Tenant Path Tests

The journey a real tenant takes, from sign-in through the features they use, on each plan.

Load and Scale

Traffic modelled on your largest tenant and on many small ones, so you see where the platform bends.

Security Checks

Tenant boundaries checked for security flaws. Account-level pentest is scoped on cloud security testing.

Platforms Tested to Carry Load and Fail Safely

Cloud and SaaS work where the platform had to keep running through every change.

Diagnostics chain · back-end platform

A diagnostics chain needed its back end to keep pace with growing patient volume. Vervali rebuilt the platform and its integrations so the estate could carry 50% more traffic.

50% more traffic

Australia · cybersecurity SaaS

DDoS simulation on a live SaaS product, showing how the estate fails under attack and what it takes to absorb it without an outage.

Two private-sector banks · lending platforms

60% faster loan processing and 50% less agent onboarding time, on platforms that had to stay up through every change.

How a Multi-Tenant Testing Engagement Starts

An environment review first, a tenant plan you can read and a retest after fixes.

Environment Review

A free look at your tenancy model, your largest tenants and how the platform is released.

Tenant Plan and Quote

The tenants, the plans, the load and the isolation checks named up front, then a price for that stage.

Test and Report

The tests run against a staging copy, with every finding ranked by how much customer data it exposes.

Retest and Hand Over

Fixes retested, and the test pack handed to your team so isolation is checked on every release.

Why Teams Choose Vervali for SaaS Testing

A testing laboratory that checks the boundary between your customers.

An Accredited Laboratory

Testing run from an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory with a CMMI Level 3 process, so results are written down and repeatable.

Wider Cloud and SaaS Coverage

Broader platform testing, automation and release work are scoped on cloud and SaaS testing.

Hours That Overlap

Working hours overlap 9am to 1pm Eastern for stand-ups, blockers and release calls, with delivery from India.

Frequently Asked Questions

Multi-tenant SaaS testing checks a product where many customers share one platform. It proves that one tenant cannot see or change another's data, that the paths a tenant uses work on each plan, and that the platform keeps its performance when one tenant is large. The tenants, the load and the quote are agreed before testing starts.

We make requests as one tenant using another tenant's identifiers, across APIs, queries, file stores, caches and background jobs, and confirm the platform refuses them. We also check reports, exports and search results for leaked records. Every finding is ranked by how much customer data it exposes, and fixes are retested before we close it.

We model traffic on your largest tenant and on many small ones together, then watch where response times and error rates change. We check whether one tenant's heavy job slows the others. The result shows where the platform bends and what to fix first. Deeper load engineering is scoped as a separate performance testing engagement.

We test tenant boundaries, authentication, authorisation, API access, session handling and the handling of tenant data at rest and in transit. We test the controls and report the results to you. Vervali holds ISO/IEC 27001 for information security, but we do not certify your product. Account-level penetration testing is scoped separately.

We find where performance drops, such as slow queries, shared resources and noisy neighbours, and report the cause with evidence. Fixing and tuning the platform is a separate engagement, which can be done by your team or ours. The test pack is handed over, so you can confirm each fix against the same load.

We test the controls your rules require, such as access, logging and data separation, and report the results to you. We do not certify your platform and we do not claim any certification beyond Vervali's own. Which regulations apply is named in the quote, so the tests match the rules you are held to.

Yes, where it pays back. Isolation checks and regression tests are automated and handed to your team, so they run on every release. Exploratory work, such as hunting for new ways across a tenant boundary, stays manual. The quote shows which parts are automated, and the effort to maintain them.

Clutch lists Vervali at $25 to $49 per hour. A multi-tenant testing engagement is quoted as a fixed price once the tenancy model, the number of plans and the load are scoped. A single-region product and a multi-region platform are different quotes. Tool licences and test data are named in the estimate.
